Job summary:
Regional driving position. Employee would plan to spend up to 5 nights per week in the truck and working one weekend per month. Due to the nature of the industry, this schedule could be frequently altered.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Hauling all freight assigned by dispatch
- Maintaining proper electronic logs
- Abiding by all FMCSA and DOT regulations
Education and Experience:
- 2 years previous professional driving experience
- Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with non-hazmat tanker endorsement
- Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
- Must be able to comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Flexible schedule
- Good driving record according to industry standards
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, push and pull up to 75lbs
- Stand/walk on surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal, and sometimes on slippery and wet surfaces
- Ability to shift a manual transmission and operate foot pedals
- Occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering to operate the truck
- Climb up trailer ladder to vent dome
- Ability to enter and exit the vehicle’s cab eight to ten times per day
- Ability to hook/unhook commercial vehicle to tanker, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate the fifth wheel, release lever, lock and pintle-hooks, climb in and out of the vehicle, fuel vehicles and check engine oil and coolant levels, hook and unhook hoses to tanker and climb ladder to open dome lid
- Load and unload at customers
- Drive up to 11 hours and be on duty up to 14 hours per day

Requirements
- Valid and current CDL A
- Must currently possess Tanker endorsement (no hazmat)
- 3 years of previous CDL A experience
- Tanker Endorsement
- Tanker experience a plus
- Good driving record according to industry standards for hiring criteria
- No more than 2 jobs in 2 years
